“笨吉”原本是一只吃百家飯的流浪狗。它最喜歡一對兄妹，因為他倆經(jīng)常瞞著媽媽悄悄陪它玩耍，喂它美食。某天，這對兄妹被壞人綁架。在媽媽和警方都惶恐不安而又無所適從之時，聰明勇敢的“神探狗”笨吉克服險阻，用自己的方式救出了這對兄妹，也找到了夢寐以求的家。笨吉的故事提醒我們，身邊的寵物或許就是拯救人類的英雄。
